Oven Grilled Asparagus and Tofu

1 lemon, sliced (this can be harder for kids to slice)
1-2 tablespoon herb and spice mix
I used 1 teaspoon lemon balm, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and pinch of salt

Oven preheated to 400F

Oven Grilled Asparagus and Tofu
Step 1: Cut Tofu into big blocks
Oven-grilled tofu with a golden, crispy crust and tender asparagus spears—this dish is a showstopper that looks fancy but is surprisingly simple to make! Step 2: Put aside the blocks in a bowl or plate
Step 3: Put the herbs in a small bowl
Step 4: Add olive oil
Step 5: Add spices
Step 6: Add salt
Step 7: Add black pepper

Step 8: Marinate the tofu by mixing the herbs and oil mix and set aside

Step 9: Hold an asparagus and bend it—it’ll snap where the tough part ends. How many can you do together?!

Step 10: Lay a parchment paper on the baking sheet and lay flat
Step 11: Add the tofu, asparagus and lemon
Step 12: Ask an adult to put it in preheated oven


Step 13: At about 10 minutes, ask an adult to flip everything and bake for another 10 minutes
Step 14: The food is ready to be enjoyed warm!
